  • Author: Jessica

Ingredients

Scale

To create this delicious German Semolina Pudding, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 350 ml milk (low-fat works)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp sugar (or sweetener like Splenda)
  • 40 g semolina (whole spelt is great)

Instructions

Follow these simple steps to prepare your German Semolina Pudding:

  1. Combine Milk, Sugar, and Vanilla
In a saucepan, mix together the milk, sugar (or sweetener), and vanilla extract.
  2. Heat the Mixture
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Once it starts boiling, lower the heat.
  3. Whisk in the Semolina
Gradually whisk in the semolina, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue to simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until the mixture thickens slightly.
  4. Pour and Set
Remove the saucepan from the heat and pour the pudding into bowls. Allow it to cool until set. You can enjoy it warm or chilled.
  5. Serve
Serve the pudding with your favorite fruit compote, a dollop of whipped cream, or a sprinkle of cinnamon-sugar for added flavor.
